Monika from Splendid Willow posted pictures of her son William's room. She calls her style "edgy classic with a Swedish twist." Since I'm obsessed with Scandinavian design, it's no surprise that I love the end result. My favorite elements are the framed chalkboard wall, the sconces, and, of course, the teepee.

Sweet kid's room from Pulp Design Studios:
We're still enjoying some much needed relaxation time, but I wanted to share three things that are worth checking out this week.
1) Peruse the July/August issue of Dwell. It's all about Family Fun. Laurette's collection is inspired by vintage children's furniture. Because it's a French company, it won't be easy to order these pieces, but the unexpected palette of sophisticated grays and plums might give you some ideas for your child's room.
This nursery seen on Skona Hem feels light and airy. The floor to ceiling hot air balloon curtain is lovely. Pictures of the rest of the home: And speaking of balloons, it's still not too late to enter the mobile giveaway. The winner will be announced tomorrow. This room was featured on cote de texas. Have you considered a bold piece of art for the nursery?
